Intertwined Osteopathy

Cortney is a graduate of the Canadian Academy of Osteopathy (CAO) and a member of the Ontario Osteopathic Association. Before studying at the CAO, she graduated from the Human Services Foundations and Recreation and Leisure Services programs at Conestoga College and the Stratford Chefs School.

Her lifelong passion for sports came with an assortment of injuries, exposing her to various forms of healthcare treatments. As a result, she discovered the benefits of osteopathy and decided it was time to pivot from her career as a chef. For Cortney, osteopathy revealed the intertwined nature of the different structures in the human body, which sparked her curiosity into how it could help people with bodily dysfunctions in their everyday lives. Using osteopathy to understand the body as a dynamic unit of function enables her to provide gentle manipulation to the muscles and connective tissues which can increase motion, decrease pain, and bring balance to the body. Through the realignment of muscles, connective tissue and joints, the body can then have a clearer pathway for intrinsic self-healing processes.

Cortney’s osteopathic treatments are non-invasive, all clothing is worn, and collaborated goals are cultivated to guide the body toward balance. Reach out today to see how Cortney can help you toward your path to a more mobile and adaptable body.
